Localisation support (foreign languages)
Re: Localistion support (foreign languages)
Hi guys.
Here is the updated italian.h file for the current R2021052901 release:
Hoping not to have exceeded the limit in number of characters imposed by the LCD display of the GD-77.
In truth I do not know if this is the correct way to proceed with the new firmware "BSD 3 clause + non commericial license", in any case how would it be intended to proceed for the Wordlist_Italian.csv file (Voice Prompt)?
In the source I did not find that specific .csv file
As always a big thanks especially to Roger, Daniel F1RMB, Colin G4EML, Alex DL4LEX and all the people involved in the OpenGD77 project for the time and resources spent on the whole community in order to provide new features, improvements and bugs fix.
Many, many thanks!
73 best regards de Fabio IZ2EIB

The .scan_on_boot translation is too long, it's used with .on and .off, with ':' in the middle.IZ2EIB wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 4:40 pmHi guys.

Re: Localistion support (foreign languages)
To make it easier for the translators I've put the latest header files into this folder on the OpenGD77.com server
https://www.opengd77.com/downloads/translations/
We have received Italian and Spanish translations for the latest features but all other languages except French probably need to have the translations for the new words updated
Please can anyone who has translated the files in the past, post their updated translations here, so the non-English versions can be updated.
The voice prompt texts also need to be updated for most languages
The files for those are here
https://github.com/LibreDMR/voice-promp ... /languages
Thankyou.
