Would you like to test a build ? Drop me an email (it's available on QRZ.com).

Cheers.

Same exact problem here. Mine is TYT as well. Went back to 2023-12-12 version and while top line is not as visible, the audio appears to be working fine again.

Hi,

For the record, that bug only affecting the TYT MCUs based radios has been found and fixed.
Big thanks to Link, W8LDO, for the dozens of tests and reports he made on his RT3S radio, and to Nick, IZ4YYB, for the tests on his DM-1701.

Cheers.

just F.Y.I.

I still have the problem on my TYT MD-UV380 (MCU TYT).
The audio freezes after some random time of inactivity (from a few minutes to 15-20 minutes).
Changing Channel or Monitor button helps and the sound returns.

Actions done:

1. Changed firmware releases.

2024-05-11
2024-04-12
2023-12-31 Stable

2. Reset the settings (SK2+Power on)

3. Set Echo Level = 0.

The issue still remains.

BTW: my other radios which runs OpenGD77 firmware (TYT MD-9600 MCU STM and Baofeng DM-1801) are working properly.

Looks like some common problem with MCU TYT radios.
I hope this issue will be fixed in future firmware releases. I'm looking forward to the next releases.

73,
Victor.

DMR , FM or both ?

Scanning, on a Channel or VFO ?

I use a RT3S with TYT MCU but haven't noticed any problem similar to this.

DMR mode. No scanning, normal operation on configured DMR channel.
