why this error? 12340002
ı have rt3s. ı want to use opengd77. but ı cant upload. please help
Re: why this error? 12340002
Either the radio is not in DFU mode or the driver is incorrect or you have a cable problem
Windows does not always automatically install the correct driver.
You may need to download and install the STM DFUse driver package from STM (st.com), search for the various other posts about the driver

Re: why this error? 12340002
i'm almost about to freak out when I couldn't install the software on the rt3s device I bought, I bought the md9600, and I couldn't install it again, unfortunately, the same error. STM Device in DFU Mode and there is no software left that I haven't installed, it's not happening, it's not happening
Re: why this error? 12340002
Hi,
You can't brick your device, so it's not critical.
Maybe yu can try, if you can, install à pure US version of Windows on a computer.
Or, install à Linux, we have the needed tools to flash the firmware on this OS.
Cheers.

I don't know if you remember, but I was the first user to report the "1230002" error when OpenGD77 was in alpha releases. After entering the error post in the forum, many users starting with TA*** call signs reached me and told me that they had the same problem.
I talked to 4 Turkish amateur radio operators who got the error "1230002 STDFU_SelectCurrentConfigurtion" so far. All these users found me from openGD77.com forum.
My and other users' problem are not solved. Although we tried on different drivers and different computers, we could not get a result.
In addition, TA8PRO's radio is RT3s, my radio is UV390, another user I am in contact with has UV380. Although the radios are different, the result is the same error.
Do you think the problem may be with the Turkish version of Windows? If we can solve this, we will help many Turkish amateur radio operators.

Re: why this error? 12340002
It would be a good idea to try with a fresh install with US or UK version of Windows.
It is possible to download install media from https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/softwar ... /windows10
I may try with a Turkish install if I understand enough of it for installing and if I found something to install it on.
( I guess a virtual install may not work and especially not as a native install on real hardware )
Have you compared other installed software ?
What about antivirus software or something else that many Turkish users install on their computers ?

Thank you for your kind reply. I have a laptop with Debian 12 installed. If there is a way to flash opengd77 via linux to uv390, I might try. I guess the Linux version of CPS isn't on the horizon yet.SA0BUX wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 1:36 pmIt would be a good idea to try with a fresh install with US or UK version of Windows.

I use "ESET Endpoint" as anti-virus. I had an unsuccessful attempt to disable Anti-virus once and try. I also tried turning off CPU-isolation once. It didn't work either.

F1RMB wrote earlier in this thread that there is a flash tool for Linux, hopefully he can help you obtain it.TA1ECA wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 2:51 pmThank you for your kind reply.
