always displays and transmits the same frequencies and they are not programmed
always displays and transmits the same frequencies and they are not programmed
I bought a retevis rt3s, and trying several codeplugs I made only one analog. When programming the analog, the walky always outputs the frequency of 14902500 for any vhf memory and the frequency of 44600625 for uhf memories. Programming another codeplug always outputs those frequencies. I have changed firmware and it does the same thing. Does anyone know why that happens? Any suggestions to reset everything?
The walkie is gps model. Thank you

Don't forget to post there.

Factory firmware can be locked.

Re: always displays and transmits the same frequencies and they are not programmed
My UV390 GPS works (400-480 , 136 - 174)
I read many posts on internet about unlock the hidden frequencies.
(I dont why ) but I unlock the unit by pressing side buttons.
Then my radio turn to USA version freauency range.
It was not possible to send or recive anything under 450 Mhz.
I have upgraded the firmware from 18.XXX to 19.006 but the problem was same.
I have checked the TYT CPS program " setting.ini " file.
enablefreqrange=0 . Replaced it to " 1 ".
Run the CPS again. Upload something to radio.
Turn off-on again.
Radio turn back to 400-480 , 136-174 Mhz range.
Not 1 : Copy the orginal setting.ini file somewhere in to different directory in computer.
Not 2 : I have the original firmware on my uv390

Start using Opengd77 firmware instead, you have full control of frequency ranges as long as it's inside the range supported by hardware.TA1TAQ wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2023 3:12 pmMy UV390 GPS works (400-480 , 136 - 174)
