Hi all,
Apologies if this is a little off topic, but I need some advice before I send it back as faulty.
I have just received a retevis RT-3s and it unfortunatly failed the gd-77 flashing due to the cpu problem.
Can anyone direct me to the correct software to re-flash this back to factory.
I have flashed what I think is the latest, but no matter what I put in the code plug, its TX and RX seems to be locked at 450 and 150 mhz,
Even if I type in a vfo frequency it just returns to the upper band edges on its display.
Has anyone any ideas.
Thanks in advance
Problems reverting to the official firmware
Re: IMPORTANT. New MD-UV380 or RT3S are not compatible
Some TYT radios are frequency locked when new. Maybe you have somehow activated this lock when you reverted to the factory firmware.
Apparently the lock can be removed by holding down the top and bottom side buttons (above and below the PTT) while turning on the radio.
