The V5 hardware uses different IF chips to the earlier radios so the RSSI values will be different. It won’t affect the operation of the radio, only the signal strength display.

I don’t have a V5 radio but Roger does. Maybe the RSSI needs to be adjusted to suit individual radios.

Colin.
My S meter level never goes below S3, but because I don't have a signal generator, I have no way to calibrate except by comparing with the GD77 or my FT991A

I've uploaded a modified version of the firmware here

http://www.opengd77.com/downloads/MD960 ... 89872a74db

This version has a lot of changes including an inaccurate recalibration of the RSSI level

It also has an experimental Reverse repeater lock function, on the Channel screen toggled by Long press of the # (Hash) key on the mic.
When in Reverse repeater lock the channel name is displayed in inverse video.
To exit from Reverse repeater lock, the Long press # (Hash) or power cycle the radio.
Transmitting in Reverse repeater mode is possible but on DMR it tramsmits in simplex DMR on the output of the repeater.

Also the codebase used for this version has many code changes are part of a code unification process to bring the GD77 and MD9600 codebases as close to each other as possible.

Let me know if you see any problems with this version, because we have been cleaning the codebase to make it easier to port to other radios.

GD77 Firmware 06/19/22:
Incoming PrivateCall -> I press "No"
Query repeats itself! Is that correct ?

I just tested this, but I don't have any problems on my GD77.

Had the private call reception ended when you pressed the button, or was there still an incoming signal

Every DMR frame with your ID as the PC destination will trigger the incoming call message to be displayed.

If someone keeps transmitting with your ID as the PC call destination, then the PC call screen will be redisplayed.

The channels can now be moved in the new CPS, perfect!
Is this also possible for digital contacts? (better overview with many contacts)

No. Contacts can't be moved yet.

It takes me many hours of programming to make even minor changes to the CPS because we didn't write the CPS. The source code for the CPS was decompiled from the official CPS and the official CPS was designed to allow this sort of features. The underlying data storage of the codeplug in the CPS makes it very difficult to move items, and even more difficult to insert etc items except at the end
