Hotspoy with stock antenna

Dear Forum,
The rule book for Open GD77 states:
Do not use the antenna on top of the radio when in hotspot mode, this usually causes RF injection problems which can't be resolved by screening or ferrite chokes.

However, I have been using my stock antenna on top of the radio for almost a year now with no noticeable consequences. Is the information about this in the rule book up to date?
