Repeater 2x openGD77 ?

would it not be possible to implement a small repeater with mmdvm and 2x openGD77 trx? Has anyone thought about that yet? I see a problem in mmdvm that it has only one adjustable port / tty / .. for both directions of transmission, ie there is no way to connect a second radio station to mmdvm.

Yes, the question has been asked before.
Unfortunately the answer is no.
To implement a repeater MMDVM need to have very precise control of the transmitting and receiving radios timing so that it can synchronise the timeslots. That is not possible using GD77s due to the uncontrollable USB delays and the fact that they use the HRC6000 baseband chip which handles its own timing internally.
