Maybe you could post some photos, that could help spotting some problems.

Woo Hoo! I finally got the soldering right...it was so small and I need a magnifying glass if I do anything like this again!

I used the TYT MD-9600 with the OPENGD77 obviously on an ISS Pass with my Sarctrac Rotor and Arrow Antenna and wow did it work well! I was live on YouTube!

So I cannot find a way to change the GPS setting from km to Mile and Mile per hour. Am I missing something or can't you add it to the firmware if it's not there please and thanks!

The firmware is metric, only.

Nope.
Adding Imperial would introduce more strings in every language, changes to the UI, conversion, etc. Too much space/processing for this.
