TX Fail?

Post by Ehuntley » Tue May 18, 2021 3:55 am

I updated my Firmware today(to the standard, newest firmware). After updating, I would get a "TX Fail: Be Disabled" message when I would try and transmit on any channel or frequency. I did a factory reset, and I didn't get the error when I transmitted on whatever default channel popped up, but then I programmed 1 analog frequency into the radio, tried to transmit on that channel, and now the error is back. Does anyone have any idea what is going on and what the solution might be? I don't remember what firmware the radio was before updating, but I did check before updating, and followed the directions from Radioddity, which said I should be safe to update to the newest firmware.

What firmware are you running.

That message is not in the OpenGD77 firmware.

I believe that the official firmware has the VFOs set to RX Only. You need to use the CPS to change that setting.
