Error trying to upload code plug with community CPS

Post by KV0A » Sun Jan 05, 2020 3:12 am

Finally the holiday visitors are gone and I am getting around to working on getting this working. But I have run into a problem.

Process:

- uploaded the version of firmware linked to in the FAQ to the gd77
- downloaded the version of CPS linked in the FAQ

When I try to upload a code plug I get this error:

I manually uninstalled the driver from the device manager panel and then reinstalled the driver via command line using the zip file linked to in the documentation. This didn't seem to change anything though.

Suggestions?

Ok, it looks like the FAQ is referring to old versions of the software. I downloaded these:

https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... taller.exe

https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... stable.sgl

And now it's working!
