Hi all, I'm trying to config APRS position beaconing. Based on the manual, it seems like I will have to make an analog channel at 144.390 and then have to be on this channel all the time to transmit the beacon?
If my understanding is accurate, then my question is. Is it possible to make the radio beacon on 144.390 automatically, on a timely basis or on a smart APRS function triggers, while I'm monitoring another channel, analog or DMR?

Today you need to be on the APRS channel to send location updates.
