My GD77 radio had been sat in its box for over 4 months due to other projects going on, last week I decided to bring it back out, so I recharge it back up, but when I turned it on after successfuly charging it up, I had no display, the radio appears to be working fine as it will tx/rx via my hotspot using TG91.
Q1, Has anbody ever had this issue before.
Q2, Is there any sequence of buttons I should select on power up.
Q3, Would I benifit from re-flashing the firmware.

This problem has never been reported before
You could try holding button Sk2 when you turn the radio on, to reset the settings, but apart from that you will probably need to open the radio and see if there are any loose connections
Also, check the battery is holding charge, as storing the radio with the battery connected will completely flatten the battery to the point where it may be chemically damaged
