Talking about lack of space...

Post by EA3BIL » Fri Dec 08, 2023 7:49 am

Hi,

I got a comment from a user that made me think for a while.

Taking in consideration the really limited space available for the FW...

What about having TWO different branches?

One for analog features and Another one for digital features

I really don't know how much space does require analog (FM) anyway it could help to get extra space, didn't it?

Cheers,
Rafael

Stripping out all the DMR code would save some space, but who would want a radio that only did FM?
Removing FM would only save a very small amount of space.

Roger,

That were exactly the two sides I've been thinking about...

Anyway, it was a shout to the moon.
