TS setting in channel has no effect?

Post by VE4HTO » Sun Nov 12, 2023 8:03 pm

Hi,
recently i came back to a difficulty i had a few months ago with repeater slot settings within my code plugs.
For testing i made a simple CP containing only few TG's with set Repeater Slot "Disabled" to make sure there is no override from the TG. Channels are only one for each slot.
Loaded this to the UV390, it does not change the TS as i change the channel on the radio. Looks like it just ignores the setting in the channel. I double checked the setting via the "Channel details" menu, settings are as the CP is loaded. Of course i can override the TS by pressing the Star button. Display shows TS1 or TS2, so i'm assuming its not overridden by the TG setting (that would show cS1 or cS2 if so).
Changing channels with a TS setting does not have a effect on the TS used. Same behavior on my other radio (MD9600).
Is this what everyone else is experiencing or do i something wrong?

Try clearing the TS override
done that by long press Star, no change. :( (but there was no override in the first place?)

thanks for quick answer...
