It's OK for me.

I can deal with Catalan ones.

Thanks for continuing to work on this Angelo! I've been swamped with work the past few days. But let me know if there is something specific I can do to help with the User Guide or screenshots project.
Thanks, Bud. Might be a busy weekend ahead. I guess it's just the screenshots that I need help with -- or a quick way to grab screenshots without having to manually do everything.
OK so let's have a plan for the screenshots. Do we want to capture new screengrabs via the CPS to replace every screenshot in the User Guide now? I think so. The big question is one you already alluded to: is it OK if those are local to the person making the screengrabs (e.g., different ID, repeaters, etc) and therefore we edit the text around the image? If we decide yes, I can start on the systematic process of making all new grabs and inserting them into the guide, etc.

If you need it, I'll deal with Catalan language.
Just let's agree content they must show.

I'm ok with it, if the rest of the developers and the community are -- whichever is most efficient and effective!

I guess we should also have a plan for localizing the guide.

Right. That is a good point. Maybe we can re-do all screengrabs in English first, then once it is set move onto translating necessary parts and getting new screengrabs.

I am booked tomorrow but can start making the screenbrags Tuesday, and will try to compile all new ones and insert them into the markdown version this week.

I updated the user guide with screengrabs from OpenGD77 CPS. I have only finished the first part, though -- before the menu system. I will continue updating as I have time.

I have made a pull request, by the way, @VK3KYY.

Also generated new PDF version of guide. If not yet pulled into main repository, here is the file: https://github.com/jangelor/OpenGD77/ra ... 0Guide.pdf

Problem is I could not get screenshots while radio is in hotspot mode (conflict in com port). There are instances wherein it hangs in hotspot mode even after the dv app is turned off. I'll try to grab a screenshot from that.
