So you think it's easier to ask developer to port to another station and waste his time for 12th station than to move your *** and buy a proper radio to flash opengd77. Sell 1702, buy 1701 or idk, I cannot believe how selfish a person can be!

Just what i tought you are gonna say.

I agree that it's unrealistic to expect someone else to volunteer time to develop for a particular piece of hardware, but expressions of rage and accusations of selfishness damage the community. Please be polite and kind when helping set expectations.

Hello, i did not want to be rude, but it really pisses me off, because it really isn't fair. In the end of the day - the most rude thing is, to expect someone port you a FW, just because you're too lazy to sell a radio and buy the one, that supports opengd77. I believe the limited developers time is much more value and should focus on developing the fw itself. Every new radio means more time consumption. On the other hand, I bought 3xgd77, 4xbaofeng 1801, md380, md390, rt84 and rt90 just because i wanted to test how different radios work it out with this wonderful firmware. Of course many of them were sold further to our community HAM operators with opengd77 and I made somekind of promotion of this FW. All of them are super satisfied with it.

Baofeng 1702 is nothing more than MD UV380/rt3s or 390 so I really do not see the point of porting or expecting someone to do that. :!: :!: :!: :!:
