your question has been answered and discussed in detail in the FaceBook group - why double post ?

you have to use a GD77 cable - and no other. no electronics in it, straight wires.
if you switch the GD77 on, the cable attached to the GD77 and the computer,
the CPS should see it.

You ask 'any ideas please' Oh yes, if you use Google, you will find several pictures how a GD77 cable is wired.
You should be able to check this with any simple meter. 'Old' or 'new' firmware on the GD77 is not relevant to connect.

Seems that you still trying and lurking around, to listen to other commercial transmission
in your vicinity. OpenGD77 is built for Ham Radio ;-)
