Thinking about a direct zone preset button.

Post by Shuttrr » Fri Nov 19, 2021 8:24 am

Good morning all,

I was thinking about the following: I switch between zones a lot and now you have to press the blue key + arrow up or down.

Is it possible to sub-program a zone via a preset key (e.g. key 3)? Press a long time and you are taken directly to the desired zone that you have programmed under the key.

I hope that this is possible.

Kind regards,
Bas

Zones can aleady be assigned to individual QuickKeys

BTW.

I see you did use your callsign when registering on the site. What is your callsign?

You have to un-assign it first, then assign it. I'm not quite sure why the unassign is required from a factory reset state when none has been assigned before but that's how it works. :)

It's because the quick keys are part of the codeplug data.
However, they can't be edited by the CPS because its too complicated to constantly update the CPS to handle every change to menus in the firmware etc
