25Q128 128M-bits 16M-bytes
Daniel fitted this chip, not me
I have 2 radios which have 25Q64 8Mb in them, but these were factory special's supplied to me by TYT. I did not upgrade them myself
Note. The 8 and 16mb chips are a bigger footprint than the 1Mb 25Q80 fitted in the radio, so you have to be slighly creative when you modify the radio to make the larger chips fit.
On my radios, TYT bent the pins backwards so they went under the chip, onto the exising pads.
I don' know what Daniel did to make his 16Mb chips fit

A W25Q128FVSSIG, you need to slightly bend/squeeze the pins to fit the footprint, as packages are different (SOP vs SOIC).
Cheers.

Thank you both for this information. This is exactly what I needed to know.
I appreciate all that you both do to support this fantastic firmware.

To save confusion I have moved your post to this new / separate topic
Also. You need to use the latest CPS to support the 16Mb chip.
The previous version only had support up to 8Mb

BTW, is there any benefits from larger memory besides more contacts?

Its not more contacts, its more space for the DMR ID database
DMR and FM DTMF contacts are limited because of the codeplug format

Well I installed a 25Q128FVSG flash chip and the radio displays CAL DATA ERROR as expected.
I restored the flash from a previous back up and it still says CAL DATA ERROR.
I am using CPS E2021.11.02.01.
Am I missing something, or is this flash chip not compatible?

Difficult to know whats causing that error.
Try backing up the flash again and look at the backup file. (obviously don't over write your master backup of good data.
Then compare the backup you restored with the new backup.
Try using Hxd
https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ or anothed hex editor to view and compare the backups

I tried downloading the code plug and I was getting a Port Closed error.
I don't know if that means anything.
