I checked the forum and SCAN is not found.

Does this radio in fact scan? I see where it talks about scan in the Menu under one of the options, but not sure how to set it to scan.

hi, yes it does, select the zone you want (mine is ALL CHANNELS) and hold the UP button until scanning starts, pressing DOWN stops scanning and pressing RIGHT temporarily removes a channel if you need it, starting scan again reinstates the removed channel

You even have a sweep scan, in VFO.
