Blinking Amber LED on GD-77S

About every 5 seconds the amber LED on my GD-77S does a triple blink. It is quite annoying. Any idea why? I can't find any settings for such, and I have searched these fora and the internet.

Normal behavior (it's heartbeat). It's the only sign that your GD77S is powered ON.
