Quickly respond to last TS/TG

Post by kt4lh » Tue Jul 27, 2021 6:47 pm

I am sure this is possible in OpenGD77 but I'm having a senior moment, but how does one do a quick change to the last TS/TG in use when in monitor mode? Say I'm on TS1 and TG3121 and the repeater comes up with activity on TS2 TG3100 and I want to quickly respond.

I still occasionally seem to somehow forget that there's a lot of variables in DMR communications and respond to someone on the wrong talkgroup using the wrong timeslot, but at least if I can remember the right key to flip to them I stand a slightly better chance ;)

I've looked over the manual but I'm missing it, appreciate a reminder.

Hi,

When receiving, press the SK2 button, it sets all the overrides.

Cheers.

The more common scenario is after receiving, honestly, get a call and don't grab the radio in time. But SK2 only works during a call? Where is that in the manual btw, I looked to see what I missed and didn't see it.

Appreciate it Daniel!

After reception, you need to check the lastheard screen (and longpress the SK2 to display the TG).

About the SK2 on RX:
