OpenGD77 CPS download location changed

Guys

Due to potential license problems with the OpenGD77CPS, I have removed all source code and releases from Github

The CPS can now be downloaded from there, as I have secured some more hosting space.

http://www.opengd77.com/downloads/OpenG ... .02.01.exe

I will move the User Guide so that it can also be downloaded from here, as soon as I re-write it to remove the current software license issues.

At the weekend I will be releasing a new version of the CPS at the weekend to remove the firmware download button, and with a few minor bug fixes.

Thanks Ken

Github T's and C's could potentially bite us with the CPS, but since I pay for this server, I can do what I like, as long as its legal in Australia.

nice to see, I really love my gd77 since the new software and it has been a fantastic journey watching it evolve, such a pity it wont be moving on, but it wont stop me using it, it beats any other dmr radios by a country mile.
kindest regards

Thank you Roger. Also, thank you for everything that was done with the amazing OpenGD77 project. You, Daniel, Alex and many others took these tinker-toy radios that were at best amusing and annoying when they came out of the box and turned them into incredible workhorses that are now capable of amazing performance with an interface that offers accessibility features that no one ever expected. The patience and brilliance of all the contributors has been something to inspire us all. Thank you with all my respect and best regards. 73, Rob W1AEX

Thanks Rob

As you know, we always try to do things in the best interest of the OpenGD77 community.

I'm in the process of moving all files from GitHub, as their Terms and Conditions are potentially problematic.

The voice prompts will move to here, when I have time to move them.. Hopefully later today.

I will release a new CPS later today, just to remove the "Download and Update" button, as it no longer works, becuase of the removal of the firmware from GitHub.

This is awesome, Cheers Roger!

I know you've refused this in the past, but I'd be more than happy to chip in for hosting costs.

Thanks.

I think donations would get complicated, as I'm registered for tax purposes as a business, and I'd probably get taxed on any donations, at company tax rates.

And I don't want people's money going to the Australian Tax office ;-)
