It works... But does not "keeps in place"
You may need a ribon rubber to hold it 'cause it does not match with GD77 battery anchoring.

Gd77 and DM1801 batteries are not exactly the same size, but if you use some sandpaper they can be modified to fit, as they are almost identical

By the way, I got an MD-760 battery eliminator a week or so ago here and it fits perfect... I hooked my dual 12v outlet adapter to my power pole distribution and an extension cable and have my GD77 on 24/7 now.
I'm sure this listing will only be good for so long, but just to be complete..
