[RTFM] Monitor mode

can someone explain to me what the monitor mode function is and give me a simple operation example ?

Hi,

It permits you to open te squelch in DMR/FM mode (and it's even more smarter than that).

Long press SK2 (blue button)

So Monitor is to open the squelsh instead of the left arrow instead of the left arrow ?

Not for monitoring frequancy ?
