TS change and overwrite

Post by vk2fmet » Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:32 am

I've been scouring the manual... when I have a TG on a channel set to the wrong TS, I can change it with the * key for the moment I need it. But is there a way of saving the change of TS back into memory without going via CPS?

menu .... channel detail .... changes the TS .... stores permanently with blue key pressed + green key

interesting - it looks like it saves when you go back to Channel Details but the main screen still shows the old settings

OK I tested this several times and it does not save.
I updated to latest Firmware and tested again and it does not save.

Does your Blue button work OK?

and then once you have checked that the blue button is working correctly ..... you have to hold it down when you press the green button

in fact - when I got to a TG which is on TS1 and go to Channel Details, it's sitting on TS2.
Change it to 1, save and I'm on TS1 as before I leave, go in reverse on a TG which is on TS2, go to details - channel on TS1, (blue+green) save and screen is on TS2.
Does override need to be disabled?
