Sounds like a hardware fault
Did you try putting it into firmware update mode (Hold Blue and Black buttons then turn on the radio). Does the green LED come on.
If not. The hardware is seriously unwell.
If the green LED does come on.
Turn the radio off, then hold the Blue button and try turning it on again, as this does a factory reset on the settings (not the codeplug)
