I would have thought there would be a procedure to challenge/correct googles blocking behaviour? Otherwise it becomes ripe for abuse by trolls.

Cheers.

There was no obvious way to challenge this.

Here is the link to Google's page

https://safebrowsing.google.com/

I see nothing about reporting a false positive for anything other than phishing

Its not in google's interest to do anything except block websites.

Blocking anything that looks vaguely unusual is a safer course of action for them, than bothering to actually investigate this

Their procedure is probably, automatically check if the EXE is signed and if its not signed then block it.

Actually it seems to have been unblocked again

for

downloads/CPS/Latest/

But apparently Google know constantly scans, somehow, using Chrome, so it could only be a matter of time before they block it again

OK, so Zip the exe with an encryption password , and post the password.

I'll try zipping and password protecting all CPS installer exe's in the future to see if this makes any difference

Hi.

FYI:

Atleast for the moment of this post, actual google chrome and firefox refuses to download anything from:

https://opengd77.com/downloads/CPS/Latest

As google safe browsing provided it as unsafe with red color.

I get the same warning but no option to continue.
