Baofeng have re-engineered their DM-1801 so that any new radios bought in 2022 are no longer compatible with the firmware.
Although the new DM-1801 looks idential to the old model, and its official firmware appears to not have changed, the electronics inside the radio is totally different.
It will probably never be possible to support this new version of the DM-1801
