CPS Dosen"t See the DM1701.bin

I have the CPS installed and i set the radio type go to extras click on firmware but when i go to folder where i have the firmware downloaded to the CPS dosen"t see the DM1701.bin.Any help appreciated.

Select "*.bin" in the filter list, in the bottom of the window.

For some reason even though i choose DM1701/RT84 in the Extras, In the filter list it only shows DM9600.../bin

Hmmm, aren't you mixing Donor firmware and OpenGD77 firmware buttons ? I guess so.

Also for some reason when I bring up the loader it says FM at the top is this normal.

You really need to re-read the installation instructions. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2760#p22621

There are two steps necessary, selected by the two buttons on the firmware loader screen.

First you need to let the CPS know where the donor file is located. This is the MD9600.... .bin file. (You don't load this into the radio, you just indicate it's location to the CPS). The message will then change to FM + DMR.

Secondly you load the DM1701.zip file to the radio.
