Thans for this, I can see the top line now, but it appears too far down on my radio (about 4 or 5 lines too low). Also the sides are still cut off.

Just a quick note on the “OpenDM1701_SCREEN_HEIGHT_HACK_2.zip” as of January 26, 2024: I installed it the same day it was released and it’s running pretty smoothly on one of my DM1701s. Thanks to everyone who took the initiative to “hack the screen”!

Only issue I came across so far is that the device keeps crashing when viewing last heard list. It seems that list must have “scrollable entries” – and as soon as I try to scroll down the list it’ll “green screen” (see this quick video: https://youtube.com/shorts/i3MzByUHM_k?feature=share). Device needs to be switched off and on again after this… The crashing is replicable as soon as the last heard list has filled again to be scrollable.

I didn’t care too much as this was “just a hack”, yet it seems the screen adjustments will make it / already made it into the next beta (RE: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=3307&start=50#p29621)

Maybe beta testers already came across this bug or later code updates already fixed it? Whatsoever – I just wanted to make a quick note....
