Hello,
this might sound a weird question, but we are talking of me so nothing can disappoint you.
Is there a way to make the upper knob scroll within talkgroups instead of zones?
in other words: can we make that knob act like left (P1) and right (P2) keys instead of up and dow arrows?
**to me** it's more intuitive for it to act like a tg switch more than a zone one (but I think it's really subjective)
Thanks!

Re: DM 1701 Knob
Might we consider this a feature request?
I have no clue how much code changes this would involve and still would be pointless if it was only me asking this, though...

Re: DM 1701 Knob
I still dont see any benefit.
Pressing doyens of time to change channels vs few rotary turns, + the fact that tg list are limited to 32 entries...it's a slow down.
Cheers.

Re: DM 1701 Knob
Hi Daniel,
I don't know how the average codeplug is: thinking to me, I have an handfull of zones and many tgs (here were I live, I have only a couple of repeaters and 3 hotspots, literally with 3 networks on them, so with prefix).
Then I consider that most of people I know have an anytone 878, whose behaviour would be the same (knob for tgs) so passing from a radio to the other would be more "mentally automatic/mechanic".
I agree that if people have tons of zones and a few TGs, the solution is the one you made.
That's why I asked if we can benefit to "choose" the knob beahaviour.
I hope I've been able to explain my point of view, and I'd apreciate even others' thougts (I mean other users, I don't want to be the black sheep).
