FYI.
The change i made to allow Row 1, 2 and 3 of the keypad to be scanned, seems to cause a problem on some UV380, so I have changed this to conditional compilation, so that only the DM-1701 is driving ROW 3 , High and Low
Colin thinks there is a problem with residual voltages due to the capacitance of the cable to the display + Keypad PCB , but unfortunately my UV380 does not seem to have this problem
Probably I need to unify the button and keypad scanning function, but I think there may still be a bug on the UV380 even if I made that change.
Does SK2 + # function on the DM-1701 ?
This is used in DMR mode to open the TG (Group Call) list
Thanks.
Side button problems on UV380

Thanks.
SK2 + # functioned as "TG Entry"
SK3 + # functioned as " Group call list/All call list/Private call list selection"
Re: Side button problems on UV380
I think it is OK on your radio , except for the overall mapping of SK1, SK2 and SK3, which I need to change.
SK2 + # is the same as # without SK2, probably because SK2 is functioning as SK1 on the UV380
SK3 + # should be SK2 + # but this is not a big problem , because SK3 is working.
The bug on some UV380 is that SK2 + # does not work, because # is in ROW 3 of the keypad
Thanks again....
