Re: Updated localisation files
Thank you.
The updated .vpr files for Italian have been uploaded to the Latest folder
https://opengd77.com/downloads/Voice_Prompts/latest
I've also updated both text files in the localisation folder.
The changes to on screen texts will be in the next release of the relevant radios, specifically the UV380, but I also noticed the MD9600 has missing some texts, so I will also need to release a new MD9600 version after I have added the new GPS functionality to that radio
Re: Updated localisation files
Updated german translation files .h & wordlist
Roger, do you wish that we post the translation in this thread in the future? Or better in the old Localistion support (foreign languages)?

Thanks.
I'll find the old tread and move it into this section.

Re: Updated localisation files
Thanks
I've updated the master version of wordlist_german.csv and german.h in the localisation folder, I've also rebuilt the German Voice Prompt files and uploaded to https://opengd77.com/downloads/Voice_Prompts/latest
It looks like the last 5 or 6 words needed to be recreated in for the Voice Prompts
I don't mind if you post to the other thread or this thread with any updates, but the other thread was getting very big.
However, if you are monitoring the other thread, I will post there when I make changes that require translation but I will also make a separate post related to those new changes
Re: Updated localisation files
I tried to translate turkish language, I hope it is OK
Re: Updated localisation files
Hi,
I'm sorry, but you killed the encoding. You should use UTF-8.
I suggest you to use notepad++ (if you're using Windows), select UTF-8 in the Encoding menu.
The file you uploaded uses non standard extended ASCII text, hence it's unusable in its current state.
Cheers.

Re: Updated localisation files
Hi,
But I know what I'm talking about
The files in the source shouldn't be UTF-8 encoded.
If Roger or me ask to keep the UTF-8 encoding for a specific file, it's for a good reason (we have a tool to make conversion needed for some languages, Turkish is one of them).
Cheers.

Edit: I just read your edit
