The voice prompts have been updated to support the GPS screen in the MD-UV380 / RT-3S

The latest voice prompts are now located in downloads/Voice_Prompts/Latest

The latest wordlist files are available from the localisation folder downloads/localisation/voice_prompt_texts/


For anyone who wants to build their own version the voice prompt files

The voice prompt creation Python script is located in downloads/Voice_Prompts/tools
The other configuation files needed to build the voice promptscan be downloaded from downloads/Voice_Prompts/data
The languages.zip file need to be unzipped into the build folder, and creates the necessary file structure including all existing mp3 files

I probably missed the meaning of the several versions of the same voice flavors... Please what is the difference? Thanks.

The different 'versions' of each file are the speed of the speech.

1.0 is the normal speed but this can seem quite slow when you are scrolling through the menus.
2.0 is twice the normal speed.

Just pick whichever one you prefer. Personally I use 1.25.
