uv380 and uv390 about the problem of non-decoding and caton noise

Hi, everyone. I want to respond to a question, and that is uv380 and uv390 about the problem of non-decoding and caton noise. Sometimes it doesn't decode, even if someone is speaking on the frequency, and I'm sure the timeslot, the color code and the frequency are all set right, but sometimes it happens, and sometimes the speech gets stuck, and it keeps repeating a letter, or that's noise, and it can only be made normal by switching channels, There are many people around me who use the same radio as me who have this problem. tyt760 does not seem to have this problem, but tyt380 and tyt390 will have this problem. Almost everyone who uses these two devices will have this problem, but few people come here to reflect this problem, so today I will reflect this problem. Hopefully creators and engineers can solve this problem.
My English is not good, so I typed these letters through the translator, hope to include more, hope to understand.

Decoding problems are more common with the official firmware than the OpenGD77

The problem with repeating words etc, seems to happen when the signal is weak, or has QRM, or comes via a repeater or hotspot when there is network congestion and data, in the network, is lost intermittently.

Try reverting to the official firmware and test again. I think the problem will still exist, and hence is not something we can fix

Hello, I asked my friends who use official firmware again, and they said that the tyt380 decoding using official firmware is normal, and there is no phenomenon of no decoding and caton noise, so I am very puzzled by this

I specifically installed the factory firmware and did not notice any decoding failures in 2 weeks.
I have repeatedly written about this problem
Perhaps there is good news - I have not yet detected a loss of modulation when using the version with a modified processor clock frequency for 10W UV380/UV 390 PLUS

There is no change to the clock frequency in the special UV390 Plus 'test' version

There is a change to the DMA controller which sends to the backlight pin

Unfortunately, nothing has changed. Modulation drops and noise are present.

Because I do not ever see this problem, and also 99.9% of other people did not report this specific issue.
(There are > 1000 installs of this firmware on these radios)

Its possible its isolated to a very few radios, or possible very few local conditions which cause what you are hearing.

Just because someone else reports non-decoding, it doesn't guarantee the problem is the same as your problem.

All digital modes have the equivalent of QRM which will effect the decoded signal, but the effects on digital modes is complicated and not simple analogue noises like on FM.

You best option is to download the firmware souce code and build it yourself and then make changes to the places you think are causing the problem.

e.g. If you think the CPU is not running fast enough, you would need to change the CPU clock frequency configuation and control.

It is not however possible for us to provide support with how to program in C etc, or how to make specific changes to the source code

My UV380 also has this problem~
My friends radios working properly on the DMR Repeater, including Motorola and Hytera.Only My UV380 can't receive voice.
But UV380 works normally on the other DMR Repeater and my opensopt, mmdvm~
