Battery Eliminator & Leather Case for Retevis RT3S

Anyone use of one of these RT3S battery eliminators?

They are cheap enough I'll probably just get them, but I had a bad battery eliminator for UV-82 Baofeng that was a real chore to slide on/off and made poor electrical contact.

I'm using such an adapter. There is a converter inside the battery. IMO it is good if you transmit with a power of 1W. At 5W it gets warm during longer conversations. I removed it and left the casing and inserted the XL4016 with heat sinks between the plug and the battery. Works better.

Thanks for the response. I saw a video for a similar modification on a Baofeng battery eliminator, just to give me an idea whats involved - looks straightforward.
