Daniel, have you seen my proposal above for the ISS frequency 145.800? Do you think it is possible to implement it?

Between yesterday and today there must have been some passages of the ISS with SSTV transmission, apart from the fact that yesterday I tried to receive and they transmitted nothing. The satellite function has voice, APRS and beacons. Would it be possible to use the frequency of 145.800 as a beacon for the ISS? We would have better image reception with the correction of the Doppler effect.

Just edit the satellites.txt file used by the CPS

If you move the satellites.txt file from the exe location, the CPS should request the location of the file when you next try to update the satellite keps, then you can select the location you moved the file to

In that location e.g My Documents you will be able to edit the file without needing admin privilages

Thank you to the author of the firmware for your efforts. When will the dual transmitting and dual monitoring function of channel and frequency be added? Thank you. :D :D

As has been stated many times, this radio (UV380 or DM1701 and all variants of these) only have 1 transceiver chip.

Hence the hardware can't support "dual transmitting" or true "dual monitoring"

Additionally the transceiver chip (AT1846S) is a very low performance device, that only costs $1 and can't change frequencies very quicky.

So, the CPS didn't ask me where the satellites.txt file was, but I still managed to modify it, I tried to insert an additional line for the ISS called ISSTV as I wouldn't want to lose the possibility of also using the transponder and the APRS.

The radio menu doesn't see it, I think two lines with the same "Catalogue number" are not managed?
It seems to me that the system manages only two RX-TX frequencies and when using the 1.2.3. keys you switch between voice, APRS and beacon only these two are managed.

I don't know if I can explain myself well and above all if it is possible, the request would be this: is it possible to manage the Transponder, APRS and SSTV frequencies at 145,800 for the ISS?
Obviously nothing that drives you crazy, let's be clear! :)

You are using an old version of the CPS

Use the latest version

I humbly apologize for the time I wasted, I didn't realize I was using an old CPS, I put in the new one, edited the satellites.txt file and everything works as I wanted!
Thanks again for the support.

Well, thank you very much for your answers, but I have two relatives here that are constantly manual switching of simulation and DMR. Even if they are fake, they will greatly reduce the number of operations.

If you need to listen on multiple frequencies, make channels for those frequencies and then add them to a zone and then scan that zone.
i.e even if some functionality was added which appeared to be Dual Watch it would simply be scanning 2 channels constantly, and the only difference would be the user interface display
