today I have tried to install openGD77 to my second RT3S. Everything works fine, but when I upload my existing codeplug to my second RT3S the screen is blank white and I can't power off the device (have to pull the battery to turn it off). When I upload a fresh new codeplug everything works fine.
But the codeplug is working great on my frist RT3S ...
Can't I use the same codeplug on two identical devices?

Yes, you can, you can flash the same codeplug on any supported device.
Are you running the same firmware ?
Have you tried to pull the battery?

It's so sad to watch a many year project has stopped, wasting time on people's problems every single day, wasting time on people that are not able to properly flash FW or to read manual or instructions. 
The quality of the group has dropped to very low level. If we proceed this way, i think opengd77 project is under question for the future. It's not a problem solving people's problems, make extra thread and we will help. More sad is, that when we post advanced questions, doors are closed to discussion.
