TYT MD-UV380 and TYT MD-UV390 Driver CPS and Firmware

Because the TYT website doesn't always have the right versions of firmware drivers or cps for the UV380 and UV390 I felt a need to compile a package with the stock firmware for both radios GPS and non gps versions along with dmr drivers the firmware download tool and a few versions of both radios cps just in case. I know when i first started my biggest hassle with getting everything working was finding the right drivers and searching for the right cps and backup firmware was a huge pain so i wanted to help the HAM community out. If anyone is having any issues with flashing back to stock firmware or flashing OpenGD77 to your UV380 or UV390 please feel free to comment and ill help out as best as I can.

BTW.

Windows often installs the DFU driver, but it also doesn't always seem to install an up to date driver.... Why Windows sometimes installs the wrong driver is a complete mystery.

I've noticed that with drivers for ftdi cables sometimes too but it's never as big of an issue then the dfu drivers. Thankfully as long as one doesn't reinstall windows or get a whole new pc once the right ones installed everything else with the radios and the firmware is cake. Hopefully I can get more people in my area interested in dmr this year and this firmware definately has turned some people on to it

I flashed the UV390 today and only used the installation instructions for the RT3S/UV380. Everything went smoothly.

Hello, thanks for the downloads. I saved quite a bit of time. Have a little question for you. Which driver should I choose? There is 3.0.3 and 3.0.6.

Hello,
Radio MD-UV390 GPS version.
TYT-CPS works fine (1,30 version)
TYT fimware uploader works fine
Windows W10 on laptop.
On W10 control panel usb programmer shown as STM Defice in STU mode.

My orjinal uv390 version was
Firmware : 19.006
CP : V1.30

However I can't upload firmware with Open GD77 CPS.
I download the 18.016 - uv390 firmware version from your link and upload it to radio.
Try again with GD77 for uploading OpenGd77 firmware.
Everytime same error appers on the screen.
"Unable to initialise the radio : 12340002 (STDFU_SelectCurrentConfiguration)

I have download the newest STM32 Cube drivers from ST website.
Same problem continiu.

Any solutions apreciated.

PS : (From menu UV380 selected, firmware version is UV380. All downloaded from your links)

According to your callsign, I guess your Windows uses your locale, not US ?
