openGD77 RT3S Guide d utilisation
openGD77 RT3S Guide d utilisation
Bonjour,

Re: openGD77 RT3S Guide d utilisation
iv figured out a few key combos myself that may be handy (i have non gps model with verson 20230227201014 gd77 firmware)
button below ptt + rotate channel knob = cycles through zones
green + hash key locks ptt (same combo unlocks)
green + star locks keypad ( button below ptt + star unlocks)
holding up arrow goes into scan set group channels
button below ptt + star key changes from digi to analogue (shortcut)
pressing star key from what i can see changes timeslot
button below ptt + hash brings up contacts (group call menue name if press has whilst holding cycles through group, private, all)
button below ptt + green is channel details
button below ptt + up and down arrows adjust power (hold up arrow for few seconds on highest setting to goto un restricted)
button above ptt + green brings up quick menue
holding button above ptt brigs up quick info on current channel (talk group, freq, ctcss, squelch)
button below ptt + hash key opens dtmf contacts (when in analogue mode)
as for it being deaf from my experience so far with it it has not been deaf only to very distant repeaters it knows theirs a signal but its just not strong enough to pick up reliably had the same thing with the stock firmware myself outher's may have had diffrent experience (better antenna high up will help a heck of a lot with range)
you cant have both timeslots on the one channel you can change via one of the key combos above between them but most run ts2 for hotspots and repeaters some use both but not all
hope some of that info helped ill update if i find anymore combos

hello F1RMB , thank you for your answers. Thank you for the indications on the language to use. Sorry also for the presentation ... I was convinced it was but obviously not. It's corrected. Have Good day.

Thank you very much Andrew M7RDN for all this information, it's great!
for reception sensitivity, I compared under the same conditions (exterior X200 antenna, same geographical location) with a RETEVIS RT73 with its original firmware, it decodes the relays located approximately 30KM away. The RT3S has the green speaker, but no sound. That's why I wonder about his reception sensitivity.
Re: openGD77 RT3S Guide d utilisation
i might make a visual diagram like the outher radios that are on the user guide would be helpfull to have saved vs having to read through to find them having a cheat sheet would be niceVK3KYY wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 6:14 amThis is already documented in the User GuideM7RDN wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 4:31 amiv figured out a few key combos myself that may be handy (i have non gps model with verson 20230227201014 gd77 firmware)
