Hello. Does Talkaround convert an analog channel with a frequency difference to a simplex? How does Talkaround turn on?
PS
Found. Talkaround is enabled in the quick menu of the corresponding channel. Is it possible to display an indicator icon that Talkaround is enabled?

There is already a visual indicator, radio mode is inverted when talkaround is enabled.EU1AEQ wrote: ↑Tue Apr 25, 2023 10:06 amHello. Does Talkaround convert an analog channel with a frequency difference to a simplex? How does Talkaround turn on?

Re: New Beta version 2023 04 23
Woah, cool stuff! There must indeed have been an issue with ctcss/dcs a while back when I mentioned it, because after flashing this and testing that specifically again with the same RD-5R and USB SDR, I found that it works now! Awesome stuff here... blows that factory firmware trash straight out of the water.
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!
Re: New Beta version 2023 04 23
There is still a problem that voice is not always heard during DMR reception. Tried all ECO levels, same everywhere. Using Channel Knob immediately returns the voice. This happens rarely, but it still happens. MMDVM deviation calibration performed correctly.
TYT MD-UV380 with version 2023.04.23. It's the same in previous versions.
Best wishes, Kris SP1KC

Please explain, step by step, exactly what the problem is.SP1KC wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2023 11:24 amThere is still a problem that voice is not always heard during DMR reception. What do you mean by Voice ?? Do you mean DMR voice audio you are receiving or Voice Prompt audio?
Re: New Beta version 2023 04 23
Hi again,
When there is a DMR signal, the radio decodes the sound in the speaker and this is correct. But sometimes it happens that the dashboard shows the transmission, the radio shows the signal, but the loudspeaker is silent. The callsign does not appear. Only when I move the channel change knob, the decoded voice suddenly come back with the callsign. There was a topic somewhere about Eco mode and hotspot calibration. Tried all eco modes. I also turned off Eco mode but no sound still happens. On the original firmware everything works fine.

To update the firmware on a retevis that already has the penultimate version, is there an easier procedure or is it the same as for the first installation?
