Odd, i'm not sure then!

I dare not fiddle with it now, its working well :)

Any chance of Analog APRS next?

HI!

Cheers

No.

Read the other threads about the problems with generation FM APRS signals on these radios

I have some questions about APRS in RT3S -
I would like to realize the following:
I want to transmit to the DMR+ network with PC9059,
and I want to send to the BM network with PC262999.
For this I have created the appropriate digital contacts in the CPS, and TalkerAlias "APRS" activated.
It works fine in the BM network with PC262999, the QTH is correctly listed in aprs.fi with the identifier -9.
However, this does not work with PC9059 in the DMR+ network, here wrong coordinates are listed.
(e.g. Cameroon instead of Germany)
I also have the feeling that 9059 is not dialed here, because I get back a "Red Dot" identifier, without "-9".

My remote station is my own hotspot, which is properly registered in DMR+ and BM.

Question is now:
1. how can I send correct data to DMR+ network, so that it will be displayed correctly in aprs.fi!
(best with an example)
2. where can I define the CallNumber, which is responsible for DMR+? (e.g. 9059)

AFIK DMR;+ does not support 'In-Call' APRS , or any other form of In-Call data

The OpenGD77 firmware only supports APRS as In-Call data, not SMS data

Thanks for the feedback.
A counter test with an Anytone brought the correct GPS data, can the device then SMS Data?
However, I see that OpenGD77 to DMR+ sends only the wrong latitude - the longitude is apparently correct!

@VK3KYY
Roger, I made with Alex-OE1JTB/OE3JTB times some APRS attempts:

"GD77" -> Hotspot -> BM ... OK
"GD77" -> Hotspot -> DMR+ ... NOK (Latitude false)
"GD77" -> Relay -> DMR+ ... OK
"GD77" -> Relay -> BM ... OK

Also we have a suspicion that a PC905x is not sent out from the hotspot to the DMR+ network!
An APRS counter test with an AnyTone worked however also at the Hotspot via DMR+!
Can you check this please?

Thank You!

I can't check this because

1. DMR + in Australia does not support In Call GPS data
2. I don't have an Anytone radio

Also, if you have 1 combination of configurations whic does not work; logic says that the problem is specific to that combination, i.e Hotspot -> DMR+

I recommend you contact the network admin for that configuation combination, and ask them to analyse the network traffic to understand why they are corrupting the data.

FYI.
Not all networks support In-Call GPS data.

BM supports multiple formats of In-Call GPS data, but you need to set the correct configuation in the BM Selfcare, it sounds like the DMR+ network configuration may not be set to the ETSI standard data format that the firmware transmits.
We do not support proprietary protocols, and are unlikely to do so, as they are often legally protected.

Works fine for me with RT3S GPS Activated, BM SelfCare with ETSI and In Call GPS = On

It works from my home Hotspot and from a local repeter FIZYE near Paris(fr)

I'm still shearching how to send my position every 180s, so if anyone have the solution, please share !

Automatic periodic transmission is not currently supported, because the DMR APRS function uses In-Call data which requires transmission for about 5 or 10 seconds.

Got it working.

Needed to select "Motorola" in the radio type!

Kev
I think "Chinese radio" also works
I have my ETSI on my devices in BM Selfcare and TA APRS works just fine with that too from a RT3S.
Tested via my MMDVM Hotspot https://aprs.fi/#!call=a%2FSA0BUX-7
Hi I need some help to configure DMR APRS in my RT3S, can you help me???
