I'm wondering in a first place, how those HAM developers in Australia manage to get and own gd77, baofen 1801 - because those stations support encrytion and they said, it's illegal to own a radio with encryption possibility.

Okay, maybe.
But what is the point, as a Ham, to have private communication ? It's against the whole nature of Ham radio.

If I want to have private communication, I grab, lets say, my cellphone.
What about you want a private communication with group talk :)?

There are many online solutions (Asterisk, Meet, Zoom, etc...).

Then leave encryption out of here.

Thanks.

This discussion points out why sometimes I do *not* admit to being a ham radio operator.

Leave the developers alone if they will not do what you want.....please.

oh, i feel opposite than you. I find it funny, when HAM operators intentionally don't want to expand their knowledge, search new things, develop new options, listen to other HAM's knowledge, suggestions, findings or even being rude - this is just opposite to the basic HAM point, searching and expanding knowledge. I'm over opengd77, as mentioned, the forum's quality goes down day by day. I feel sorry for true developers, that put effort to the project and listened to the suggestions from the community, that helped develop the project.

Hi,

Just out of curiosity I downloaded the latest source files and tools from the link in the first post.
I installed STM32CubeIDE 1.13.1 on Windows 11.
Using the prepare.bat applet, I saw that the required file was saved in the linkerdata folder.
But when I run build_all command in STM32 it gives error message.
I'm probably doing something wrong. What do you think could be the problem?

Thank you for this excellent work you do, too

I just updated to the same version of STM32CubeIDE but I'm not seeing those errors

What version of the F4 support files did the IDE install, in the package manager.

My PC is using F4 version 1.26.2 which it says is the latest available version

I looked for sysmem.c and it references a type called caddr_t which is defined in types.h

I recommend you make a blank new project for the STM32F405VGT and see if that builds
