ALPHA 2022 11 29

Post by VK3KYY » Tue Nov 29, 2022 3:42 am

New Alpha firmware

This version moves the Language menu to Options , and also displays the Language menu when the settings are updated or reset
It also removes the GPS message counter, which was only included while the GPS function was still being tested.
German language problems should also be fixed in this version

Thank you Roger! The latest firmware from 11/29/2022 works fine on my RT3S. Even the language setting in German does not cause any problems!

yes, I think that there was something wrong with the CPS.
After downloading firmware in the rt3s and the DM1801, it would not load anything else in the rt3s , but worked fine on the 1801.
I restarted CPS , and now it downloads kebs and codeplegs fine or the rt3s as well..
Thanks!

To install cps or firmware I turn off antivirus and internet and I never had problems with firmware or cps installation.

Each antivirus program is different. Most people do not have a problem with this.

On my RT3s i missed the TS filtering after i update it to this new version.
Is there a way to get it back. In the past the Timeslot switched automatic when there was an QSO.

There were no changes except for DMR APRS

Simple transmissions do not include TS number.

TS setting is meaningless on simplex

2 simplex transmissions can't operate on the same frequency

DCDM allows 2 stations to share the same frequency, but the firmware does not support it.

I'm seeing an issue on the Retevis RT-3S Non GPS model.

When trying to manually set the Location under:
Radio info ==> Location
It appears impossible to change the Longitude to West (W) or make the value a negative decimal eg. -009.xxxxW

Is this a bug or am I missing some way of toggling the Longitude?

Thanks.

Did you try the button under the PTT and up/down Arrows?
(seems to work for me)
