2) Is there a way to simultaneously monitor two channels "A and B" with Opengd77?

at the moment, i think no, not possible but... rt3s i think has ability in comparison of gd77/baofeng, which has hardware limits. My suggestion is:
make test zone, put test channel a, test channel b in scan. Scan is super fast, so you won't miss any conversations ;).

Hi!
I have two questions.
1) How to record the adjusted parameters of the R3TS radio?
For example, I have three RT3S radios with OpenGD77 installed. After resetting a radio's settings, how can I import configuration parameters from a configured radio and write the parameter to the reset radio.
Is there a way to write radio configuration parameters with OpenGD77 using CPS and save to Codeplug?

2) Is there a way to simultaneously monitor two channels "A and B" with Opengd77?

I'm doing several tests with the three radios in various scenarios, soon I'll be posting feedback.
I have also had some thought about if it's possible to read all the options and store and change them from the PC (CPS) and then load them back to the radios.
Could be good to have a "golden" option setup to use if you mess up some options and need to reset them.

Quick menu> Dual Watch

The radio only has one physical receiver. Although the VFO has a Dual Watch function, it is just switching quickly between frequencies

You can do the same thing by making a Zone with just 2 channels, and using Scan.

There is a technical reason why settings are not loaded or saved by the CPS.
This is because different versions of the firmware have different settings memory configuations

Although a function could be written to backup and restore settings, it would fail as soon as new firmware was loaded with any changes to the settings data structure.
e.g. New features like GPS enable / disable in the UV380 require changes to the settings data storage.

Also different radios, have different settings structures because of their different hardware eg. MD9600/UV380/GD77/GD77S/DM1801 etc etc

So it would never be possible to backup from one type of radio and restore to another.

I hope to add Chinese language to the RT3S, because the screen size of the RT3S is larger and the memory is larger, and the color display will be more beautiful. Thank you.

Hello to all,
I have installed the new Alpha on my RT3S. All work fine from the first moment. Congrations for this perfect job and many thanks in order to give the RT3S a new life!!! Perhaps a small whish regarding the key mapping to get compatibillity with the GD-77 / DM-1801: please change the functions of arrow keys and rotary switch. Use the rotary switch as horrizontal arrow keys. The vertical arrow keys should select the entries within a zone and the rotary switch the talkgroups in each entry (RX group List). That would be great.

Arrow keys already select the zone

Rotary control is used to change channel and change frequency, hence it can not be used to change talkgroup, hence the Up/Down arrow keys are use for this purpose.

If you are suggesting the rotary control should not be used to change channel or frequency, I think everyone else on the forum will dissagree with this form of UI.

We will not be changing the operation of the rotary control for channel / frequency control.
