The RSSI and the S Meter are not calibrated on any of the radio models. The readings will differ between radios and between radio types. This is just an indication, it does not mean that there is a difference in receive performance.

Probably the bocking happens depending on the internal phase of eco mode when you press the PTT.
All power saving, including in the official firmware, enables and disables the Rx chip. So probably if PTT is pressed when the Rx chip if sleeping then it won't transmit.
The problem may occur both on DMR and FM but I only saw it on DMR.

Also the different Eco modes change multiple perameters with the sleep / wake cycle etc etc

Hi,
I have update my UV380 and I have problem with trasmission as reported here. I push PTT several time but only few times it goes in trasmission.
This happen both in FM and DMR mode.
Problem is present in power save from 0 to 5
Any advice?

Vi nas orientações de instalação a recomendação de guardar o arquivo flash do RT3S pois serve para retornar o RT3S ao modelo original de fabrica.

Informo que realizei esse teste com o arquivo flash armazenado e o radio retornou a sua condição original de fabrica com facilidade.

Claro que imediatamente voltei o Retevis RT3S para o OPENGD77 pois o projeto "ALFA" é o nosso maior interesse.

Observei que um video nos comentários, foi removido por "epsstos" no dia 29 de setembro de 2022 7:54 pm.

Esse video mostrava o retorno a condição original de fabrica do RT3S utilizando o arquivo flash, até utilizei como orientativo para fazer o teste que apresentei o resultado hoje.

Gostaria de saber quais são os critérios de não cometer erros para postar comentários ou links para videos nesse forum, pois fiquei preocupado com a forma que foi realizada o bloqueio de um colaborador que estava contribuido para o forum do Projeto "ALFA" para o RT3S.

Got this on my RT3S and its working great!, I absolutely love using this and prefer it over the stock RT3S firmware. Would it be possible to get a talk permit tone and be able to customise it's tone to create a motorola MDC-1200 tone for example or the stock RT3S talk permit tone or a DTMF tone,
