Amateur radio firmware for the GD-77, GD-77S, DM-1801, DM-1801A, RD-5R, MD-9600/RT-90, MD-UV380/RT-3S, DM-1701/RT-84 and MD2017/RT-82 radios https://www.opengd77.com/
So, I followed the video from page 1 and installed OpenGD77 on my Brandnew Retevis RT 3S. I then made the first entree for the code plug (using Parrot) and what do you know, it worked. The only thing that didn't work for me was to Backup Flash. I let it sit there for good 30 minutes and the bar had almost reached the end but it somehow stopped and did not finish the process. But I think I can live without it.....

Hello,
my Question is:
Give it a Open GD77 Version to flash for under Linux, for the RT3S?
For MD380 UV or DM1701 give it this on the first Posting under DM1701 Stable Release.
Thanks!

I don't understand your question
Are you asking how to Flash the firmware onto the UV380/DM1701 using Linux ?

Yes. That is right. But i have also a RT3S and i want on this Radios with the Open GD77 new Codeplugs flashed under Linux.
Windows has many Problems in the last Months and under Wine in Linux, many USB-Ports are not Ok....

You can flash the firmware under Linux, for STM32 devices, you will find the Python tool, here downloads/releases/MDUV380_DM1701/R2023 ... and_tools/.
About the CPS, you have no other choice than running it in Windows (in a VM, like VirtualBox).
