Hello, I would like to thank everyone for the excellent work, even though the Alpha version for retevis RT3s is already noticed a huge difference in relation to the factory one, I realized that when charging the radio, after about 4 hours charging l the light of the charging base turns green but the battery does not charge 100%, it is between 80%, being necessary to leave it for more hours.

What will be the problem? Thank you, 73

same on my RT-3S. You have to measure the voltage on the back side, (~ 8.2 Volt is 100%)
Go to 'Radio Info' and look, what battery voltage you seeing. Note that value Most probably
less than the one you measured. Note the difference.
After this go to 'Option' 'General Options' and 'Batt Cal.' and adjust by that difference.

I don't have the ECO modes installed, where can I get an installation procedure for RT3s?

AFIK. LiPo cels are normally rated at 4.2V to be fully charged.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium_polymer_battery

So fully charged battery should be around 8.4V

The firmware by default won't show 100% charged untill the battery voltage is at least 8.2V, even though this is only actually about 95% of maximum capacity.

You can also set the display options to show battery voltage.

Hello.

Has anybody noticed, that rx-reception on rt3s is much worser than on baofeng for exampe. I have two stations together - baofeng rssi meter to the middle, rt3s barely recognizes the signal...

Hm, what would cause this. The station is brand new... stock antenna. Maybe something with the calibration? I will take some photos later today.

Return to the official firmware and confirm the radio or your antenna etc etc does not have any hardware faults

I noticed this difference between my rt3s and the dm5r, the signal meter of both the bar and the rssi of the rt3s is always lower than the dm5r

The RSSI and the S Meter are not calibrated on any of the radio models. The readings will differ between radios and between radio types. This is just an indication, it does not mean that there is a difference in receive performance.
